Councillors disgruntled military-trained enforcement officers not sent on high-risk operations


THE final Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) full board meeting of 2013 saw plenty of words being exchanged, especially over the utilisation of the newly-formed special unit of enforcement officers back in November 2013.

Some councillors expressed the view that the 28 special enforcement officers, who received military training over one month, were not being employed in the high-risk assignments they had trained for.
