Penang records small dip in crime index

PENANG’S crime rate to date has dropped by 4.5% or 355 cases compared with the figures in the same corresponding period last year, said state police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi.

“The crime rate in the state’s four districts recorded a dip except in north Seberang Prai which showed a slight increase,” he said.
