RMSIR remains premier Asian sailing regatta since inception in 1989

"Penang's Straits Quay laid out their usual hospitality. In this case, a local troupe performed the chingay for the participants."

ATOTAL of 36 sailing boats of various sizes and origins successfully completed the 24th edition of the Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta (RMSIR) last month.

Competitors started the race from Port Klang, before heading to Pangkor, Penang and Langkawi over a span of five days. Organised by the Royal Selangor Yacht Club in association with the United Kingdom-based Royal Ocean Racing Club, RMSIR is Malaysia’s oldest keel boat sailing event since its inception in 1989.
