AN encouraging fundraiser event over the weekend by a local business association will see additional aid going to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
“This is the first time we are organising something like this and we expect to collect a minimum of RM10,000 which will be handed over to Mercy Malaysia for their humanitarian efforts for the victims,” event organising chairman M. Andy, who is from the Malaysian Indian Business Association (MIBA) said.
