SIBU: Houses in the state, which has seen an average annual price increase of 5% over the last 10 years, are expected to be more expensive due to the newly amended Housing Development Bill 2013.
Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Sheda) deputy chairman Joseph Wong said according to National Property Information Centre (Napic) figures, the overall price index in Sarawak was 175.3 points, an average increase of 5% yearly with an average unit price of RM316,000.
