Preventing dengue together to raise awareness

IN line with the company’s vision to provide healthier lives and happier homes, Reckitt Benckiser (RB), the producer of Shieldtox, joined forces with the Department of Health in a gotong-royong community project to raise awareness on dengue at PPR Kerinchi.

It was a fun-filled public engagement aimed to create awareness on the dangers of dengue fever and the prevention against Aedes mosquitoes from breeding. Targeting 2,400 residents in the vicinity, there were plenty of exciting activities organised aside from the gotong-royong including a treasure hunt, a drawing contest, sepak takraw competition, cultural performance, educational information on pest control given by Health Ministry and a fun colouring contest.
