Ipoh folk in flood-prone areas on standby for relief operation

RESIDENTS in flood-prone areas in Ipoh are staying vigilant, as heavy rain is expected to continue throughout the week.

Lim Garden Residents Association secretary K. Sagadevan said a committee, which was set up to handle the water pump at Taman Muhibbah in the area, was keeping a close eye on the weather to release overflowing water to the nearby Sungai Pari.
