JOHOR BARU: The solar-powered home showcased by a team from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) for the China Solar Decathlon 2013 has been purchased by a developer in China who will be replicating it for one of its housing developments there soon.
UTM deputy vice-chancellor (Research & Innovation) Prof Dr Mohd Azraai Kassim said that the 74.32sq m one bedroom home known as the UTM Eco Home was sold to the developer in Datong, China for RM350,000.
