KUCHING: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) has entered into an agreement with Toshiba Transmission and Distribution System Asia Sdn Bhd (Toshiba TTDA) and China Xian Electric Engineering Co Ltd on the 500kV transmission backbone project encompassing Similajau in Bintulu to Tondong near here.
The project will provide a strong high voltage transmission extending over 500km between the two areas. It will support the future development of SEB’s generating system and provide a strong secure supply to the fast-expanding customers of the Sarawak Corridor or Renewable Energy (SCORE).
