Stench from Papan landfill under control following SOPs

THE company managing the Ipoh City Council Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill at Ulu Johan, Papan has come out to answer complaints over the stench emanating from the landfill.

Selekta Spektra Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Tim Ng said the company, which holds the concession for the sanitary landfill, was adhering to international standards in its management of the sanitary landfill and had a standard operating procedure to control foul odours from the rubbish there.
