Village in Sungkai finally gets piped water after 22 years

FOR almost 22 years, villagers at Kampung Sabar Jaya in Sungkai have been digging the ground for water or collecting it from wells.

Those days are now over as clean water supply has been made available to them following the completion of a RM525,000 project to connect pipes to the village earlier in November.
