THE Malacca Hockey Association (MHA) and Malacca High School (MHS), always adopting regular development and promotion aspects of the game on the local front, delivered further boost with the organising of the inaugural state open veterans seven-a-side carnival involving nine teams and league featuring six schools, colleges and an Education Ministry service centre.
In the MHA open affair where 22 matches were on the card in the one-day affair, the nine participating teams from Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Muar and Seremban were divided into two groups for the preliminary round league matches.
