Iconic Dewan Tun Razak making way for new museum building

KUCHING: It has been confirmed that Dewan Tun Abdul Razak will be demolished to make way for a new museum, with planning entering its final stages.

Sarawak Museum Department director Ipoi Datan said the Dewan — a modest two-storey building that was once the seat of the State Legislative Assembly — would “probably have to give way” to the new facility.
