THE European Union Film Festival (EUFF) 2013 kicked off its Penang run at Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) Gurney Plaza with a screening of the Dutch drama ‘21 Days: The Heineken Kidnapping’.

Starring Rutger Hauer and chronicling the sensational abduction of brewery magnate Alfred Heineken in 1983, it kept the audience, which included delegates from the European Union (EU), on the edge of their seats.
