THE Kedah Government plans to conserve the historical man-made canal Terusan Wan Muhamad Saman which was built in 1885.
State Islamic Religion, Indian and Siamese Community Affairs, Human Resources and Tourism Committee chairman Mohd Rawi Abdul Hamid said the state would set up a special committee to review ways to promote and conserve the canal as a tourist attraction.
