LIKE many Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) residents, I was shocked to receive Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) proposed 200% increase in annual value of our homes.
While we will not deny the fact that TTDI is a wonderful place to live and that property prices here have gone up significantly in recent years, we seriously question this jump in valuation, which will soon be followed by a corresponding hike in assessment fee.
