THE sleepy town of Gopeng, which failed to survive the global tin commodity downturn in the 1980s, has awakened from its slumber.
Following the opening of Muzium Gopeng in 2009 and Heritage House in 2010 under the Hometown Revival of Gopeng programme by a group of volunteers, further efforts are being made to revive the town through an “I Love Gopeng” campaign.
