STATE DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen has called on Barisan Nasional members to support his motion on Sarawak’s status as an equal partner in Malaysia.
He submitted the emergency motion to the State Legislative Assembly yesterday, in which he said it was timely and pertinent for the House to take a clear stand and remind those in power in Peninsular Malaysia of Sarawak’s status, special rights and autonomy under the Malaysia Agreement and the Federal Constitution.
