IN AN effort to curb wastage, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has set up an audit taskforce to inspect and monitor projects contracted to private companies.
Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib said the taskforce, which comprises 53 teams, would also make sure budgets for projects did not exceed allocations.
