RESIDENTS are calling for a review of the proposed increase in assessment rates by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), describing the hike of up to 300% hike as excessive and unreasonable.
Third generation Kampung Baru resident Ibrahim Alias said if the new rates were imposed, he would have to pay the same rate as properties in Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).
