KUCHING: The Great Orangutan Project being run at Matang Wildlife Centre here has been named the “Best for Responsible Wildlife Experience” at World Responsible Tourism Awards 2013.
Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg accepted the award on behalf of the centre from The Great Projects UK managing director Andrew Starbucks at the ceremony held recently as sidelines to the 2013 World Travel Market (WTM) event in London, England.
