KUCHING: The police and other state authorities have been urged to restore security and peace in Melikin and Balai Ringin, following reports of harassment by thugs on villagers in the area.
Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How called on state police commissioner DCP Datuk Wira Muhammad Sabtu Osman to beef up the force in the area to ensure that security would be restored.
