Agarwood thieves slip away


THE state Forestry Department busted a campsite said to have been set up by illegal gaharu (agarwood) tree poachers.

The raiding team of eight forest rangers hiked up to the peak of Mount Olivia near Mount Erskine, Penang, on Friday hoping to nab the thieves, but only found the campsite.
