MUKAH: Mufa-Naim League champions Saza United clinched a double after claiming the FA Cup here.
The Mukah side finished top of the table with 11 points, emerging champions by virtue of goal difference against first runners-up Landas Satu.
Saza registered 14 goals and conceded seven.
Landas Satu, on the other hand, defeated IPD-M FC 1-0 during the tournament finale at Dalat-Mukah District Council Padang Mesra here last weekend, resulting in the team from Land and Survey Department to also gain 11 points through 11 goals and six conceded.
IPD-M FC placed third on the table with seven points.
Saza bagged RM2,100 as champions.
On top of the RM1,600 for placing second placers, Landas Satu also nabbed the Fair Play Award, earning them an additional RM250 and a trophy.
Top Scorer was Azhar Marasal of IPD-M FC, who received RM250 and a trophy for his six-goal accomplishment.
Mukah Division Football Association (Mufa) president and Jemoreng assemblyman Abu Seman Jahwie presented the prizes to the winners.
The political secretary to the Chief Minister also topped up RM50 to each of the Fair Play and Top Scorer awardees, and RM100 each to the champions and first runners-up.
The Mufa-organised tournament which kicked off on Sept 8 and played during the weekends, involved six Mufa-Naim League 2013 quarter-finalists only.
The other three teams were Press Metal who collected four points, Nafas E10D (three points) and Petanak Petian Daya (two points).
