JOHOR BARU: Volunteer Ashar Ahmad was determined to lend a helping hand to an elderly and underprivileged woman despite warnings from villagers in Kampung Sri Gading’s that she was violent.
She was referred to him by the Batu Pahat Welfare Department under the Home Help Service programme.
