SIBU: A call has been made to the state governments and state Cabinets of Sabah and Sarawak not to transfer their five local High Court judges to Peninsular Malaysia.
During a press conference yesterday Dudong assemblyman Yap Hoi Liong said it was vital to retain the judges because when Sabah and Sarawak helped to form Malaysia, they had been enjoying the same kind of privileges in the public service, administration and in the legal profession.
