THE Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) has been lambasted for allowing the contractor managing the new parking payment system to impose ‘harsh and impractical’ criteria for the selection of agents.
Tanjong MP Ng Wei Aik said the council should not only “take care” of the contractor but also the welfare and interests of the agents too.
