Major oil palm player projects reduced transportation costs once Bintulu Port's pipeline kicks off


KUCHING: Sarawak Oil Palms Bhd (SOP) is expected to benefit from cost savings when it starts transporting palm oil from its refinery to Bintulu Port via the latter’s recently completed pipeline.

Currently, the company uses tankers for this purpose which are more costly, according to Maybank IB Research.
