Soroptimist ambassadors to help promote Malaysia

EIGHTEEN ambassadors from 10 countries gathered in Kuala Lumpur recently for the launch of the Educate.Exchange Connection, a programme by Soroptimist International South West Pacific (SISWP) to build goodwill, friendship and understanding among SWP members from different countries.

SISWP president Puan Sri Siew Yong Gnanalingam, who initiated the programme, said, “It is my hope that the young ambassadors will learn, share and appreciate the uniqueness in diversity of the countries of the federation in terms of the people and culture and bring them up close and personal with the many unique projects of service that our clubs carry out for women and girls in the communities where we serve.”
