Society given hope of having new animal shelter

THE Sarawak Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) can look forward to having a brand new animal shelter to replace its current one at Kota Sentosa near Kuching in the future.

Both SSPCA president Donna Wee and Tourism and Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg hinted at the possibility of having the new shelter to house its ever growing population of abandoned and stray animals during the society’s annual gala dinner on Friday at BCCK.
