Khai Jei retains club champion title after impressive performance

MALAYSIA’S top ranked junior amateur Low Khai Jei successfully retained his club champion title at the 2013 Saujana GCC Annual Club Championship played alternately at the Palm and Bunga Raya courses recently.

The 2011 and 2012 champion crushed the entire field with a three-day par performance of 216 (70-73-73) to win by a massive 17 strokes over the nearest contender and three-time club champion Nathan Hauser who survived to take the second spot despite blowing up on the final day with 84 after rounds of 73 and 76. He pipped Alistair Guthrie at 234 by a stroke.
