KUANTAN: A hotel in Jerantut has been operating without licence for seven years and yet the local authorities did not take any serious action against the operator, the Auditor General’s report revealed.
The hotel in Taman Bukit Pedah was converted from a house and had been in operation since 2005 but the operator had failed to get approval from the Pahang Land and Mines Office to amend the deed to a business premise.
