Rosey: Expose children to sports early for all-round development


Hundreds of Tabika Kemas pupils and their teachers from all over the state during the closing ceremony of the state level Hari Potensi Tabika Kemas 2013 in Kuching.

KUCHING: Children should be exposed to sports from a very young age to realise their full potential when they grow older.

Assistant Early Childhood Education and Family Development Minister Rosey Yunus said grooming young children through physical activities such as sports would make them mentally and physically healthy, and taught or assisted them in shaping their personalities and raise their spirit of competitiveness.
