Work at Murum hydroelectric plant resumes


KUCHING: Work at the Murum hydroelectric plant has resumed after it was interrupted last Saturday by a small group of protesters, who had allegedly threatened workers with machetes.

China Three Gorges Corp general manager Zhao Jian Qiang said: “Even though only a few protesters were involved, our men believed that the threats were serious.”
