JOHOR BARU: Impersonating, hacking, falsely accusing and even threatening through social media websites are among the most common cyber crime complaints received nationwide.

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) outreach and engagement division head Eneng Faridah Iskandar said the commission had received over 1,200 cyber crime complaints nationwide since January.
