Thousands of pilgrims celebrate Feast of the Holy Cross

MALACCA: The deep faith fervour, devotion and thansgiving of the thousands of pilgrims, devotees and the uninitiated both Christians and of other religions and creeds towards the Feast of the Holy Cross at the quaint little Chapel of Santa Cruz on Malim Hill, are the factors that inspire belief and homage.

The Malim chapel is certainly the local epitome of Catholic religious devotion and faith while capturing the hearts of many from Malaysia, Singapore and overseas. Despite its origins shrouded in uncertainty, legends and mystery, it is the steadfast belief held by so many that inspires one to seek blessings, intercessions, favours and grace from the Almighty.
