KUCHING: Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has admitted that one of his greatest fears during his early years in office was to embark on the state land reform.
He said despite land being a sensitive issue especially among the natives in the state, he realised that without land development Sarawak would only be relying on the old pattern of development, which was producing agricultural products.
