Second batch of folk affected by Murum dam to be resettled in Tegulang next month


MIRI: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) will relocate more villagers affected by the Murum hydroelectric dam project next month following the success of an operation involving 89 families from Long Wat last week.

SEB senior manager (corporate social responsibility) Jiwari Abdullah said the next batch to be relocated to the new resettlement in Tegulang would involve folk from Long Malim, Long Tangau and Long Menapa.
