MIRI: Malaysia Day street parties should be enjoyed without any rowdy behaviour, boozing, wild dancing or any other indecent act so as not to tarnish the historical event.
Former Miri MP Tan Sri Peter Chin said that while he was not against the street parties organised by Miri City Council (MCC) to celebrate the day, the organisers must make sure that there were no untoward incident or controversies that could hurt the image of the city and the state.
