KUCHING: Forty-one visually impaired members of the Society of the Blind Malaysia (SBM) and 11 volunteers have left for Sabah to fulfil their dream of conquering Mount Kinabalu.
The group of 52 now-designated hikers was sent off early yesterday morning at Kuching International Airport by SBM president Mohammad Nazari Othman, Sarawak Economic and Development Corporation (SEDC) corporate relations and communications division director, Edwin Abit, and their friends and family members.
