Four held in Miri for possession of illegal weapons while Ops Cantas in Kuching reels in 22 suspects

MIRI: Police have arrested four persons for possession of illegal weapons in various areas in the city and documented several people since Aug 19 following a nationwide crackdown on suspected criminals, gang members and secret societies under Ops Cantas.

District police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong yesterday said the latest arrest was made on Wednesday at about 9pm after a suspicious-looking vehicle was pulled over in Desa Pujut near here.
