Four gangster groups no longer active, says Sibu police chief

SIBU: The Lee Lung, Sungai Merah, Tua Cak Lee and Sungai Bidut underworld gangs which once targeted and terrorised residents here, are now defunct.

Sibu police chief ACP Shafie Ismail said the gangs were once active and feared by the people, but the police had routed them and crippled their activities.
