PENANG Starwalk participants do not have to worry about being dehydrated during the event as Kalbe International is sponsoring energy drinks as well as lozenges.
Back for the third time, the company is sponsoring RM10,000 worth of Extra Joss energy drink and RM10,000 worth of Woods’ Peppermint lozenges.
Its country development manager Sujono Darsono said Woods’ Peppermint lozenges could help participants as it might be hazy during the event.
“The lozenges use natural peppermint and anise oil which act as an antiseptic for sore throat and soothes cough,” he said at the sponsorship presentation ceremony at Menara Star in Petaling Jaya recently.
Woods’ Peppermint lozenges come in a variety of fruit-based flavours such as blackcurrant, honey lemon, orange lemon and cherry in addition to its original flavour.
Sujano said the Extra Joss energy drink was designed for an active lifestyle and would recharge participants as a pre-sport or workout power-up drink.
“The drink helps maintain the body’s health, is refreshing and increases metabolism to boost one’s energy,” he said.
