Perodua has no plans to follow the trend to build electric or hybrid cars


PERODUA has no intentions of putting out a hybrid or electric model for now as building a new assembly plant would prove too costly.

Perodua chief executive officer Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said that Perodua has always made its vehicles compact and it is difficult to incorporate same technology for hybrid or electric vehicles.
