IT WAS not Friday the 13th but a series of unfortunate events yesterday caused a massive gridlock in the morning, resulting in thousands of motorists being stuck in a bumper-to-bumber crawl between 6am and 11am in and around the Klang Valley.
An officer from Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) Integrated Transport Information System (Itis) described the congestion as “unfortunate” as a few accidents at crucial spots had caused massive traffic jams, creating a domino effect in the north, south, west and east side of the city.
