KUCHING: The Land Development Ministry has been asked to step up efforts to raise the awareness of owners of native customary rights (NCR) land so that the Native Estate Scheme can be transformed into land development.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said native landowners in the rural areas needed to have better understanding about land.
