TEENAGER Hans Yoong did not grab his chance to win the boys’ foil individual foil contest at the Australia Under-15 Fencing Championships in early July.
Kuala Lumpur’s Blade Fencing coach Nontapat Panchan, who did not accompany his trainee for the trip to Sydney, said Hans was capable of a better performance but allowed Singapore’s Brian Cheong to book a place in the final.
