Ongkili: System will improve water quality and overcome pollution

KUCHING: The centralised wastewater management system, when completed, will provide residents here with a modern sewerage facility enjoyed by urban folk in other major cities in the world.

Energy, Green Technology and Water Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said the centralised system, the first in the state, would improve water quality in Sarawak River and overcome pollution due to poor sewerage treatment.
