KUCHING: The Petanak wet market should be incorporated into the development plans of the proposed multi-billion ringgit Kuching Waterfront extension project instead of being torn down.
Bandar Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen urged the state government not to be too hasty in demolishing the 25-year-old market as it could be preserved as a part of the new project.
