FOLLOWING strong support from shoppers and local leaders, organisers of the recently concluded fifth Penang International Indian Shopping Festival 2013 plan to hold a similar event next year.
The event’s co-organiser Agenda Suria Com-munication Sdn Bhd director D.P. Ganaa said more than 200,000 people thronged the five-day event, which started on Aug 7, at the Subterranean Penang International Convention and Exhibition Centre (formerly known as PISA).
